New and Upcoming Books: March 2009

I haven’t done one of these handy-dandy lists since December, so here are some of the new books coming up, as well as some of the recent ones that have come out in the last couple of months:

January

February

March

April

May

June

July

August

September

October

November

If you know of any books that are coming up that are not on the list, please drop me a comment.

(And, please, if you’re thinking of buying any of these books, please consider using the links here at Knitting Scholar–I’ll get a couple dollars from Amazon.com to go toward the cost of this site. My grateful thanks go with every order!)

Like what you see? Spread the word!

  2. I just found your site and I love the concept and what I’ve read here so far. I’d like to see you review Donna Druchanas’ new book, as well as Wild Tea Cosies (???), Knitting in the Sun, Knitting in Tuscany, Classic Knits, all of the August books, Norwegian Handknits, and the Noro book. Please?

  8. And coming in October, Cat Bordhi’s new book, PERSONAL FOOTPRINTS FOR INSOUCIANT SOCK KNITTERS Insouciant: That Cheerful Feeling you Have When Nothing is Troubling You.

Description from the publisher: “Imagine: no arithmetic, and no gauge to try to match, and no fuss-just peaceful knitting. You try on the sock, which allows the actual size and shape of your foot to show you what is needed. Cat’s new method makes sock knitting more portable than ever before, and simple enough to make it possible to knit socks in the busiest meetings and most distracting circumstances. The book includes 25 fresh designs. “
