Let’s check out some of the recent books that have come out, shall we? By recent, I mean, some of the highlights of 2008, and many of which came out too early for me to review here and I thought they–all of them–deserved a mention. My goodness! The Eclectic Sole is definitely on my Xmas list.
I can attest to the brilliance – both of the technique and the supporting patterns – in Knit One Below by Elise Duvekot. I knit some of the garments in the book and I know that this book will appeal to beginners and experienced knitters alike – I can’t wait to see how knitters run with what Elise gives them!

I just bought a review copy of Baby Beanies: Happy Hats to Knit for Little Heads by Amanda Keeys. I love it EXCEPT the first pattern I tried has major errata.
Thanks for including Crochet Bouquet on your book list! Hope you do get a chance to review it someday.
In the meantime, for anyone who reads this, there are corrections to a few of the patterns in Crochet Bouquet. Find them at

I love the patterns in NATURAL KNITS FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS, but I am very dissapionted that I have done two patterns and they both have mistakes. I cannot find corrections on the web.
I am also looking for pattern corrections. I am making the wool aran cable jumper and the pattern is not correct. Has anyone expirenced this also? Thanks Lisa
Here are some pattern corrections listed for Natural Knits for Babies & Toddlers by Tina Barrett, I just found this on the web however, there is also an error in the pattern for the wool aran cable jumper, which is not listed. Hope this will help out someone.
