Well now, I’ve actually read the book and can tell you what I really think!

Just because both of these books arrived on my doorstep at almost the same time and seemed to compliment each other so well, they’re sharing a review. “Learn to Knit, Love to Knit,” and “All About Knitting.”
Imagine my delight when I saw the announcement several months ago of Tom Dyak’s new “Heavy Metal” needles that go all the way down to a US size 0 needle, my preferred tip for socks.

It no longer surprises me that just about everything that comes out of Joanna and Eric Johnsons’ Slate Falls Press is a treat to look at.
Inspired by the Op-Art movement of the 1960s, the author brings you a collection of 19 patterns of vivid, creative socks.
These eleven patterns are cozy and comfy in a way that makes visiting the Pacific Northwest sound eminently appealing.
